An almost complete or possibly clipped Medieval silver penny of Edward IV (1461-1470), Light Coinage (1464/5-1470), minted at Canterbury (episcopal). Initial marks: pall/none (North 1991: 88, ref: 1590).

Obverse: EDWARD DI GRA [ ]FRA; Crowned bust facing within a tressure of nine arches. Quatrefoils by neck, trefoils on cusps, nothing on breast.

Reverse: POSVI/DEV AD/IVTOR/E mEVm (I have made God my Helper); CIVI/TAS/CAn/TOR; Long cross dividing the inscriptions with three pellets in each quadrant. No spur.

Diameter: 20.0mm. Weight: 1.59g. DA=12:9-10.
