An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative, double-lugged, Harlow style brooch, dating to the 1st century AD. The brooch has a moulded ribbed bow and wings and an incised horizontal line across the foot and lower section of the bow. The pin missing but the sprting is extant; the spring is of a different alloy/colour to the brooch but it is not as starkly different from the other brooches from the area; a brooch is almost identical style is recorded here: ASHM-B75F24.
