An incomplete cast copper alloy Nauheim derivative brooch dating from the Late Iron Age /early Roman period c. AD 25-60. The brooch is missing three of the four coils and the pin is also absent. The thin bow has punched squares arranged in two lines vertically down the centre of the bow. This brooch could be classed as a so-called 'Lowbury' brooch, sometimes considered to be the badge of the Atrebates (see Makreth 2011, ND type 2d).
