An incomplete copper-alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to AD 75-175. The brooch is 56.2mm in length and 11.28mm in width. It weighs 9.48g. The patina is quite smooth, the colour is mostly dark green. The entire head of the brooch, including the pin, is missing.

With 4.83mm, the top part of the bow is relatively narrow, broadening to 11.45mm towards the middle, where it is decorated with three knops which are connected by a horizontal protrusion. On top and underneath this decoration can be found a horizontal incised line. The back of the bow at that part is decorated with five horizontal protruding lines. Towards the foot, the bow narrows to 4.11mm again, where it ends in a knop. The catchplate is of a trinagular shape and relatively long, 33.61mm in length and 11.5mm in width.
