An incomplete Post-Medieval to modern bone handle,
Description: The object consists of a cylindrical bone handle which tapers from the attachment end. There are two breaks at the attachment end possibly contibuting to the tang and handle parting ways. Tthe butt end is flat and heavily worked. The handle is undecorated and quite simple.
Measurements: 89.95mm long, 19.07mm wide, 15mm thick and 22.52g in weight.
Discussion: Relatively simple bone handles like this are very difficult to date, however the relatively well preserved nature of this object suggest a relatively recent date.
