A complete cast copper-alloy Roman finger-ring dating to the period c. AD 100-300. The hoop is now distorted but is unbroken. The finger ring is 'D'-shaped in cross-section and flat on the inner face. In plan, the bezel is roughly oval and has two circular cells on a lateral alignment. The cells are now empty but probably contained enamel, often red and blue in other examples (see for instance BERK-71F9D7). Each cell has an outer diameter of 2.8mm. The shoulders taper in width from the bezel in to the hoop.
