A complete silver half groat of James I (AD 1603 to AD 1625), dating to the period AD 1618 to AD 1619, second coinage issue. TVEATUR VNITA DEVS reverse type depicting a crowned thistle. Initial and reverse marks probably a plain cross. c.f. North, vol 2, no 2105
