A complete and worn post-Medieval copper-alloy rose farthing of Charles I (1625-1649). Initial marks: illegible. Rose Type 1, 1636-1644 (North 1991: 165, refs: 2287-2289).

Obverse: [CA]RO[LVS] D [G MAG BR]I[T]; Double arched crown with sceptres in saltire through it.

Reverse: [FRAN ET] HIB [REX]; Double rose surmounted by a double arched crown.

Diameter: 14.0mm. Weight: 0.80g. DA=12:12.
