A complete cast copper alloy spoon from the Post Medieval period 16th to 17th Century.
The spoon is broken into two pieces weighing a total of 24.85g. There is wear to the bowl perhaps in a pattern of right handed use as in Egan, 2005, 110. The spoon has a combination of green and red patina. The stem is circular in cross section and the detatched stem section is bent gently upwards. The spoon has a shallow bowl. The knop has a pair of bulbous mouldings (one small and the other more pronounced) below a circular flat plain top (diameter 10.80mm)
