Medieval to post-medieval copper alloy ring of irregular, partly hexagonal, partly sub-circular, cross-section. An almost straight and rough surfaced part of the outer face suggests casting in a multiple mould. External diameter 27.5mm. Internal diameter 20.5mm. Thickness 2.2 - 2.7mm. Possibly used in the suspension of drapes (Egan 1998, 62-4). Mid 14th - 16th century.
