Copper alloy medallion. Milled medallion commemorating the 1897 Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). A suspension loop appears on a short stalk set at 12 O'clock obverse.

Obverse description: Bust facing turned leftwards, veiled and crowned.

Obverse inscription: VICTORIA QUEEN OF ENGLAND AND EMPRESS OF INDIA

Reverse description: Wreath enclosing dates: 1837 / 1897

Reverse inscription: IN COMMEMORATION OF THE LONGEST REIGN IN BRITISH HISTORY.
