An incomplete and apparently unfinished copper-alloy mount of uncertain date. It is 33.37mm in length and 19.14mm in width. It is 7.25mm thick and weighs 6.98g.
The front face is broadly rectangular and has a central conical raised section. There are four hemispherical projections which survivem two parallel incomplete projections are located at the top of the artfact which have circular perforations and two further complete parallel projections are located above the centre of the artefact. There is a hollow triangular section, measuring 24.32mm in length and 13.15mm in width at its widest spot at the top. The conical section is decorated with three horizontal grooves at the top and eight more going vertically and diagonally in different directions underneath. The hemispherical projections have circular drilled recesses rather than perforations, this suggests that the item may be incomplete.
Below the tip of the conical projection is a flat incomplete plate. Two drilled recesses are visible.
The patina is smooth and green, except for the bottom edge and the possible rivet holes, which are brown.
