Flint blade, probably a blade of later Neolithic or early Bronze Age date, c3000 - 1500BC. The hard hammer tertiary flake is of dark grey flint, roughly triangular in shape, and is shallowly triangular in end-on cross-section. There is a notch at one side which is possibly where it has been reshaped and used as a scraper. It has two facets on the dorsal face, with bifacial low angle retouch which is stepped along the un-notched side, and there is a pronounced bulb of percussion with ripple marks on the ventral face.
It measures a maximum of 70.2 mm long by 32.9 mm wide by 8.4 mm thick, and weighs 18.5 grams.
