A Medieval silver penny of Richard II (AD 1377-1399). Long cross Standard Type G dating to AD 1377-99 (North 1329). Minted in York. Part of the edge of the coin has broken away, between 6 o'clock and 10 o'clock on the obverse.

Overall dimensions: 17.86mm in length, 14.93mm in width and 0.87g in weight.
