A complete, Early Medieval, silver, Penny (Sceat) of Series H, type 49, possibly variety 2a (Abramson 2006). Also refered to as a 'Woden Head/Pecking bird' type.

Obverse: Shield decorated with seven pellets in annulets, face with beaded outline as central boss, cross below neck, no inscription.

Reverse: Crested bird right, pellet in annulet above and below neck, pellets surounding legs and tail, no inscription.
