Medieval copper alloy single loop 'D' shaped buckle. It shares some characteristics with Whitehead No 60 but without the decoration. The buckle is complete with pin and plates. The inner plate is smaller than the outer plate and they are held together by four copper alloy rivets. Dates to between c1250 and c1400 AD.
The length is 46mm, width is 36mm, thickness 7mm, and weight 26.32g.
