Silver penny of Henry II, Winchester, reverse CLEMENT[...], obverse HENRICVSR EX, class 1a, very worn and doublestruck, moneyer Clement of Winchester, AD1180
Notes:
This coin was found at the same time as NMS-6A9947, a short-cross penny of John. When subsequent coins were found in October 2022 (NMS-C8D29B), it was realised that they were part of a hoard (2023T538). The find of these first two coins, however, have not been retrospectively added to this Treasure case.
The HER number has been changed from 62258 to 67214 to reflect the fact that this coin is now known to have been part of the hoard.
