A base silver Roman coin; a radiate of Gordian III (AD 238 - 244) dating from AD 243 to 244 (Reece period 12). Felicitas reverse type depicting Felicatas standing left with long cauduceus in right hand and cornucopia in left. Mint of Rome. RIC IV.iii, p. 30; no. 140. The coin is 24.1mm diameter, 1.9mm thick and 3.84g. Some green corrosion is visible on the surface of the coin.
