An incomplete copper alloy figurine of Christ, dating from the Post-Medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1900. The figure is three dimensional, but the back is hollowed with a deep depression at the back of the waist and the remains of two integral attachment spikes, one behind the shoulders, and one behind the feet. These suggest that the fiigurine was part of a crucifix. Christ's head is tilted upwards and to the side, his feet are on top of one another, and he wears a loincloth. His arms are incomplete, broken before the elbows. The figurine is 71.9mm long, 29.5mm wide and 7.4mm thick. It weighs 26.21gm. The patina is thin with some red areas showing though, which tends to suggest a Post Medieval date. Compare LANCUM-2C6C77 for another Post Medieval crucifix.
