Copper alloy possible cuff link fragment. A cast and possibly die stamped flat discoid plate with bevelled rim charged with an heraldic device of a stag's head rising from a coronet looking left. A flat bar attached to the back forming part of the object's attachment appears bedded in a rough layer of fixative, though this might be the result of burning. Traces of white metal plating appear at the rim. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800.
