Copper alloy button. Concavo-convex discoid button with an integrally cast and drilled loop. The die stamped front bears the quasi-heraldic badge of a sports club: A Crown Imperial over crossed hockey sticks and balls, with other features including a possible trophy of arms to the left and thistle to right, with [perhaps] an open book below. A circumferential legend in a sunken band reads [possibly, as the script is an antique one]: VII CC ARCC BDD. Extensive gilding traces appear. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1830-1900
