Copper alloy bell fragment. A shard from an open bell of estimated diameter 140mm with three moulded circumferential external ribs reinforcing the change of angle from an everted rim at the mouth to its wall. A roughened area appears externally adjacent to a jagged broken edge, possibly damage from the episode which fractured the object. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
