Incomplete front plate of sheet copper alloy from a medieval composite tongue-shaped strap end with part of a trefoil knop, one rivet near the attachment edge, and lines of rocker-arm engraving along both sides of the upper half with a saltire of the same between them. Width at the edge 11mm, above the knop 8mm. Extant length 29.5mm. 14th century.
