A bifacial 'keeled' core made on a secondary fragment of worn flint nodule. The piece is sub-oval in shape and has two platforms at acute angles to one another. Thick nodular cortex remains on around 40% of the surface around the spherical base. The flint is mid to light grey with many areas of red-brown ferrous staining mainly to flake scar ridges and has a mid-gloss patina.

Date: Probably Neolithic 4000 BC to 2351 BC.
