A complete Blunted Scraper/ Mesolithic to Neolithic date (9,000-1,200 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and concavo-convex section. The dorsal surface has one predominant negative scar. The left and distal edges short stepped flaking. The proximal end has been blunted. The distal end tapers to a curved edge. The distal, left and right hand sides have semi-abrupt retouch, and there is a semi-circular notched aspect, in the proximal right hand edge. The ventral surface is slightly concave due to a deep negative scar situated along the left hand edge. There are shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end.
The flint is brown in colour with dark grey inclusions throughout. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
