About one half of a post-medieval copper alloy keyhole escutcheon broken obliquely acorss the hole, sub-lozengiform with concave sides and truncated corners with lobes. The one extant lobe is pierced and retains remains of an iron nail. Decoration comprises curving engraved lines and punched annulets and part annulets. The edges are chamfered on the front face. Cf. handle escutcheon NMS-OEF5C3. Estimated width 65mm. Thickness 1.3mm. Late 17th - early 18th century.
