Pottery. Two sherds of a dark grey fabric: one paler with moderate flint inclusions to length 4mm together with smaller possibly calcareous flecks, and the other darker with moderately abundant calcareous inclusions to length 4mm; externally burnished. Body sherds from possibly handmade vessels. These sherds were kindly examined by Wallace Collyer, Helen Fry and Sandra Firth of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research group. Suggested date: Middle to Late Iron Age, 400 BC- AD43.
