A Medieval silver penny of Edward I (AD 1272-1307), dating to AD 1292-1296. Class 7a. Mint Uncertain, probably London. North (1991: 30) no. 1032. The flan is broken at the inner circle between 2 and 3 and 4 and 6 o'clcok. The coin also appears to feature die errors or to have been misstruck, with a fainter second E preceding the first, and an unclear letter or feature following the final N of the reverse.
