Copper alloy coin. A small and possibly unofficial milled coin, with a surface which appears bubbled by heating almost to its melting point. The obverse may suggest an imitation of a small denomination of George II (1727-1760), but this might equally be a foreign coin. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1720-1780.

Obverse description: Bust left. A milled outer circle appears all round the edge of the coin.

Reverse description: Milled edge to coin, all other detail lost to bubbled damage.

Diameter: 24.5mm, Weight: 3.49gms
