A sherd of ceramic vessel of Roman date (AD 125-300). The sherd is a rim sherd from a wheel thrown greyware vessel. The fabric is very hard and sandy. The outer surfaces are light grey with a white inner, between which is a section of darker grey, caused by differential oxidisation.
