Lead alloy bell fragment. One half of a small spherical bell, with an internal groove running around its open edge to receive a protruding flange from its counterpart [lost]. The top of the bell bears an aperture of diameter 2mm, presumably for a separate clapper [also lost]. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650.
