A Post Medieval Tudor copper alloy strap fitting or mount dating to the 16th or 17th Century AD. It is in the shape of an abstract rose with six petals. In the rose centre is a single pellet surrounded by six annulets; at the outer edge of each petal is an annulet and in between a number of strokes. There is evidence of guilding. On the reverse are three fixing prongs with a piece of leather remaining.
