A post-Medieval copper-alloy wheel from a pastry jigger (c. 1700-c. 1800).

Both faces are flat and have grooves and ridges radiating out from a near central hole. The hole contained an axis bar which would have been secured to a handle.

The object is mid-green with patches of a shiny dark green patina.

Diameter: 29.2mm; thickness: 3.0mm. Weight: 8.76g.

Pastry jiggers, complete with handles, are illustrated in Bailey 1995: 96-97).
