A copper- alloy object of two interconnected pieces, possibly a belt hanger or other fastening/attachment device. The smaller piece consists of a loop of thick (2mm diameter) copper wire, circular in cross section, semi closed and threaded through the solid loop at the end of the larger piece.
The larger piece is a loop of flattened metal, approximately 2mm thick and 6 mm in width, the opening 28 mm in length and the back part flattened. The curved front section is decorated with two crude ovals and a circle, all containing a cross in X orientation. This is separated from the smaller loop by two concave rings.
The back of the object is flat and unornamented, and appears to have file marks.
