Neolithic to early Bronze Age (c. 4000 to 1000BC) scraper: The scraper appears to be knapped from a secondary flake which has a large patch of cortex on the dorsal surface. The dorsal surface has multiple re-touch scars which are invasive and abrupt occurring on the distal end and one lateral edge. The ventral surface has a no obvious bulb of percussion, but has thick conchoidal ripples. The scraper is knapped from flint which is a dark brown. The scraper, measures 31.39mm long, 19.85mm wide and 13.58mm thick. It weighs 7.25g.
The scraper is probably a thumbnail scraper dates to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age periods, c. 4000 to 1000BC.
