Lead spindle whorl. Cast biconical whorl with a central moulded aperture of diameter 11mm and moulded decoration comprising the four equidistantly spaced triangular points of a star on either side; the sides meet at a rounded circumferential rim. Patinated. The affinities of this object are with the decorated biconical whorls of the early post-medieval period.
