Grey flint debitage. A tiny struck flake with long parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave and rippled ventral surface. Reported long with a group of Late Mesolithic flakes and a core from the same broad location, but this is a slightly different flint from the rest of the group. A very slight misting of surface patina may suggest this was exposed to a calcareous environment, but for a relatively short time. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.
