Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy dress hook of Read 2008 early post-medieval single sharp-hooked clasp of Class D, Type 5,a flat and heart-shaped plate with a soldered wire loop and missing soldered hook on the reverse. Decoration comprises five radial and one transverse lines of rocker-arm engraving. Very similar to NMS-3E966C. Extant length 18.5mm. Width 20.5mm. Thickness 1.7mm, including loop 5.6mm. 16th century.
