An incomplete Copper alloy late Iron Age/ early Roman La Tène III (AD 20-100) simple one-piece or Nauheim type brooch with the pin and spring both missing and a part of a spring coil and catch plate curl still visible. The brooch is damaged, bent backwards above the catch plate and therefore reducing the overall extended length from 46.75mm to 37.55mm, it is 6.46mm wide, 0.95mm thick and it weighs 1.74 grams.
The surviving piece of coil extends into the bow, which measures 31.5mm in length and is of rectangular shape tapering at each end. The cross section is flat, any decoration is now lost to corrosion and wear.
