An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin originating from an annular buckle dating to the Medieval period, c, 1200-1400. It demonstrates a broken loop at one end where it would have attached to the frame, directly in front of which is a single decorative moulded transverse ridge. Directly in front of this, the triangular-sectioned shaft extends before terminating evenly. Preserved in fair condition with an even blackish green patina, it measures 51.67mm long and 4.81mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 7.41g.
