An incomplete copper alloy double looped buckle dating to c.1550-1650. The buckle consists of the frame which has two D-shaped loops of equal size with chamfered inner edges. There are knops at each of the four corners (two on each loop). The strap bar has a trapezoidal cross section and knop at each end. Traces of black laquer coating are visible. The pin is missing. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
