Copper alloy coin or medal. A promotional and commemorative milled coin or medal, if the former, a lightweight halfpenny; and probably marking the marriage of George to Queen Charlotte (1761). The queen bears a striking if fortuitous resemblance to Elizabeth II in this view.
Obverse description: Twin busts left, the female coiffed with a pelleted collar or necklace, and the man jacketed and collared with a short periwig. Presumably George III (1760-1820).
