Incomplete Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Léontomorphe brooch with the spring , pin and the rolled over part of the catchplate missing. The spring case is distorted and also incomplete. The lion at the top of the bow is highly stylised and the fantail is engraved with a herringbone motif. Mackreth 2011, LEO 5.d. Length c.33mm. Width 14mm. c.25 - c.60 AD.
