A complete Medieval silver penny of Edward I (1272-1307), minted at London, Class 4a1, 1282-1283 (North 1991: 29, ref: 1023).

Obverse: +EDWR' ANGL DNS hYB'; Crowned bust facing with wedged drapery.

Reverse: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
