A worn and possibly clipped Medieval penny of Edward III (1327-1377), minted at York. Treaty B, 1361-1369 (North 1991: 57, ref: 1268).

Obverse: EDWARDVS REX·ANGLI; Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown.

Reverse: CIVI/TAS/[E]BO/[RACI]; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross.

Diameter: 17.6mm. Weight: 0.85g. DA=12:12.
