A complete, post Medieval silver half groat of Elizabeth I (AD.1558-1603). Dated to 1594-1596, initial mark Woolpack. Fifth issue (North 1991: 137, ref: 2016).

Obverse: Crowned bust left with two pellets behind. Obverse inscription: E.D.G. ROSA.[SI]NE. SPINA.

Reverse: Long cross fourcheé over Royal shield dividing legend. Reverse inscription: CIVIT[A]S LONDON.

The coin has slightly worn areas on both the obverse and reverse but is otherwise in good conditon, with a good portrait and a complete flan which has not been clipped.
