A decorative finial from a Georgian period water feature, planter or piece of guttering, composed of multiple pieces of joined lead in a fanned floral/vegetal shape. The main body outline appears to be one piece with smaller strips added over the surface to create detail. A near semicircular base, with stem-like projection on the - y axis. The flat top of this semicircle erupts into seven leaf or feather like projections that are arranged in a roughly bilaterally symmetrical manner. Each one has a central raised vein that runs from the tip to the top of the semicircle. The back of the object is uneven and has no features other than a rough raised lump approximately at the centre of mass.
