A late medieval cast copper-alloy trilobate bar mount probably circa 1350-1450. The central lobe is domed on the front and cast concave on the reverse. It is decorated by five transverse parallel grooves. The terminal lobes on each end are similar to the central lobe design with a central fixing aperture, but much smaller. One c/a fixing rivet remains. Probably used as strap or belt decoration or stiffener.

Relatively ubiquitous type and a number are shown on the PAS database with comparisons illustrated by Read (2001: 23) no.149-150 and Egan and Pritchard (1991, 213-214) nos.1160-1161.
