A long-cross silver half groat of Edward the Third 135--1377. CIVITAS LONDON = London mint. Obverse bust is facing forward, wearing a crown mounted with fleur-de-lys, encircled by a tressur of 9 arches. Inscribed with EDW[ARD]US REX ANGL [Z F]. The reverse has a long cross centrally containing three pellets in each quadrant. Inner inscription is CIVI/TAS/LON/DON, outer inscription is +PO[SVI DE]V ADIVT OREm. Weight 2.2g, diameter 21mm.
