A complete cast lead-alloy uniface token dating from the late Medieval to Post Medieval period, c. AD 1500-1800. Powell type 9. The token is blank on one face, but its other side has been decorated with a geometric design comprising of linear intersecting lines. The object is well preserved, being dark grey in colour with an even patina over most of its surfaces. There is a very small slit just off centre of the token which is visible from both sides. It measures 27.47mm in diameter, 2.62mm thick and weighs 7.8 g.

Notes:
Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture and circulate; they are therefore difficult to date exactly but those with simple designs are given a wider date range of Medieval to Post Medieval.
